Twig and Sparrow Now at Modcloth!

Hello there!

My postings have been a little sparse these days, and for good reason!

It seems that the past week or so I decided to get all my errands and upkeep out of the way in a small period of time.  We have gone to the pediatrician a few times, the eye doctor, the dentist, and the endodontist for a root canal, and other miscellaneous appointments all over the map.  In addition to all of this, we are two weeks away from summer break (?), which includes awards ceremonies, plays, graduation ceremonies for both kiddos, conferences, etc etc etc!!!  Oh, and our computer got hacked with a nasty virus this week;  I discovered that I have an uncanny talent for talking on two phones at the same time, talking to two different people.

And... I just polished off the last of the big order for....Modcloth!  This was completed just last week, and they have bought five of my designs.  So far, two are online available for purchase.  The 'Wallis' lace headband with ivory flowers, and 'Amelia', one of my earlier creations with green, white and organza flowers and leaves.  Come take a look!

The 'Wallis' is called 'Glamour in the Garden' on their site.  They are out of stock at the moment, but should be getting restocked soon.

We have a long weekend ahead of us and are taking a little vacay with the kids and Carey's sister.  Next week we are loaded with graduation activities and then a trip to the east coast.
Hopefully I can squeeze in one more post, but it may have to wait.
See you when the storm calms down, and have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

xoxo

Product Photo Shoot Complete!

Hello Everyone!
I know it has been a very very looooong time since I have posted.  Turns out I am a lot busier than I thought!  Between the norm of just keeping things humming right along at home, doing sea creature projects for my son, and battling the flu (that was a nice, unexpected surprise!), I am finishing up the big order and rounding out a few details before the big shipment next week.

In the meantime, I contacted my awesome friend Nicole to come by the house and take some close ups of my designs.  I have pics of closeups as it is, but they are taken with my little digital camera with very amateur angles and light.  With Nicole's artistic eye coming into the picture and the collaboration between the two of us, we got some pretty nice closeups worthy of being posted on my website!  Which, by the way, will be updated to look MUUUUUUUCH better by the end of next month.  Stay tuned!

It was a lot of fun staging all my designs for the shoot.  I have to say that, although it is loads of fun to do shoots with models and makeup artists, last week's shoot was different.  It was neat to use different props and position the headbands and pieces 'just so', really showcasing them at their best.  Besides, it was just plain old fun working with Nicole.  Her three kids came over and played with my kids, we made chicken tenders (gluten-free if you can believe!), and got a chance to catch up and chat.

So there it is in a nutshell;  I should be pretty much caught up!  You'll be hearing from me again in the next week again!

See you next time!

Budding Little Models in TS Designs

Hi!  I just wanted to check in and do a quick post on a couple of my designs that were ever-so-adorably sported on these little bundles of cuteness (aka, my beautiful niece and my very very good friend's sweet little girl).  The older one is wearing Eloise, a crochet-lace headband with ivory and flax-colored flowers and organza leaves;  the little one is wearing Dulcet, a simple layered ivory felt flower with a swarovski crystal-center.  Don't they look wonderful?

The Dulcet headband can also be worn by adults.  This one sells out pretty fast! See it below:

The Eloise headband also comes in adult sizes.  Here it is modeled on an older girl:

And as a side note, the 'Becoming' headband is so insanely popular that it has sold out in less than a week!  I seem to be making these on a regular basis. Here it is below, so simple and elegant:
